| These new homes are located in Biltmore Trace, near Rock Quarry Road, just south of the 440 Beltline in Raleigh, North Carolina. [map to site] These two house designs were recognized in a competition sponsored by the Triangle Young Architects' Forum and Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. The designers' goal was to push the bounds of design in the realm of affordable housing. As a result of this competition, these new, innovative, quality designs are being built today. |
| Erik Van Mehlman, AIA and Anna Marich Mehlman, Assoc. AIA received their degrees in Architecture from North Carolina State University.
